Project Coordinator

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • lead the implementation of the project/ s undertaken by the organisation
  • coordinate the project/s implemented in different regions
  • manage project budget/s
  • manage project resource allocations
  • plan and schedule project timelines
  • provide direction and support to project teams in regional offices through the regional coordinator
  • constantly monitor and report on progress issues and solutions to the project team at quarterly meetings
  • consult the Executive Director on issues related to project implementation
  • implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
  • project evaluations and assessment of results
  • report writing to donors

Education Qualifications
Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent

Experience - Essential

  • at least three years working experience in development project management with national or international NGOs.
  • experience in budget management
  • experience in collating data from stakeholders and report writing
  • proven experience in strategic planning

Key competencies - Essential

  • planning and organizing
  • leadership skills
  • communication skills
  • computer skills (ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and use of email
  • should be well conversant in English and competent in one National Language

  • knowledge and understanding of the development sector

Gross Salary – Rs. 45,000/- (monthly)
