The Centre for Performing Arts (CPArts) had a Forum Theatre with the youth of Batticaloa and Polonnaruwa who were trained by John Martin from England who put them through the paces of all aspects of the theatre. The group is called 'Shakthi' and they have winged their way to Geneva and Bern (Switzerland) and London (England), sponsored by the British Council which partenered CPArts in this venture. 'Shakthi' will have public performances in both countries in September 2010.
